Perth Symphony Orchestra and the Shire of Moora, with funding from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries, have been working together to bring Green Shoots Moora to our region over the past 9 months. The program saw PSO musicians guide local musicians and culminated in a spectacular concert on Saturday 29th March in a 'theatre' made of hay bales.

The Shire of Moora and its neighbours are the site of potential renewable energy developments (wind, solar and battery storage). Several renewable energy developers are refining project plans and lodging development applications with the Shire to facilitate initial onsite project works. The installation of wind turbines requires the agreement of the landowner for access. If are you a landowner considering entering into an agreement, the Shire recommends consulting resources designed to guide you through this process.
