Jessica Mauboy Announced as Hay Bales 2026 Headliner

The Shire of Moora is excited to announce that Jessica Mauboy will headline the Hay Bales Festival 2026, to be held on Saturday 28 March 2026. One of Australia’s most loved performers, Jessica will bring her incredible stage presence and powerhouse vocals to Moora for what promises to be our largest Hay Bales event yet.

Tickets are on sale now via the Shire of Moora website here https://www.moora.wa.gov.au/community/what-s-on/moora-hay-bales-festival-2026.aspx or at https://www.trybooking.com/DHCJP , and with last year’s concert selling out, the community is encouraged to book early. (locals email comms@moora.wa.gov.au for the ‘local’ link – adults are half price).

A Celebration of Local Talent

Hay Bales is the finale of the Moora Music Project, a 6 month initiative showcasing the creativity and talent of our region. Before Jessica Mauboy takes the stage, audiences will enjoy a vibrant 70-minute community performance featuring:

  • 31 local musicians, grouped into a piano ensemble, guitar ensemble, Youth Guitar Ensemble, and four family bands
  • The Badgingarra Women’s Choir and Moora, Miling and St Joseph’s Primary School Choirs, who will join together to form one large Choir

This combined performance will be the biggest community music presentation the Shire has ever hosted and will be backed by the Massed Choir - and an extraordinary opportunity for local musicians of all ages to open for Jessica Mauboy.

A Night Not to Be Missed

Hay Bales 2026 will be a highlight on the region’s events calendar, combining world-class performance with community pride and participation. The Shire of Moora looks forward to welcoming locals, visitors, and music lovers for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
