Shire of Moora invites lease proposal submissions from local community groups/sporting clubs to lease approx. 100 hectares of West End for the purpose of cropping and or grazing. It is the western portion between the Golf Club and Pony Club. The term of the lease will be from 26 March 2026. Applicant must submit a lease proposal for 2 years. The subsidised community lease rate is set at $60 per hectare (ex GST).
Terms and conditions will be negotiated between Council and the successful applicant. Funds raised must go toward capital improvements of the respective club/community groups’ infrastructure.
Submissions close Thursday 17 March 2026 at 4pm, and are to be marked “Tender 02/2026” addressed to Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Moora, 34 Padbury Street, Moora WA 6510; posted to PO Box 211 Moora WA 6510; emailed to records@moora.wa.gov.au or hand delivered to the Shire Office. Enquiries to be directed to Amy Watts, Manager Community Development on 9651 0000. No tender will be necessarily accepted. Canvassing of Councillors or staff will disqualify.

Shire of Moora invites lease proposal submissions from local community groups/sporting clubs to lease approx. 36 hectares of West End for the purpose of cropping and or grazing. It is the eastern portion near the Shire sewerage treatment dams. The term of the lease will be from 26 March 2026. Applicant must submit a lease proposal for 2 years. The subsidised community lease rate is set at $60 per hectare (ex GST).
