Pool Lifeguard Course, Moora: FREE TO ELIGIBLE PARTICIPANTS

The Royal Life Saving WA's Pool Lifeguard Course is being offered at the Moora Pool from 16-19 December. It provides skills and knowledge in accident prevention, basic and advanced water rescues and first aid, and is the minimum industry requirement for employment as a Pool Lifeguard at a Swimming Pool or Aquatic Facility.


Free to Eligible Participants:

Royal Life Saving and the Department of Training and Workforce Development are working together to offer the free Pool Lifeguard Skill Set training to eligible participants. 

Students must meet one of the following criteria in order to be eligible for free course.

  • Persons aged 16 – 24 years, who are not enrolled in school, at the time of enrolment. USI must meet date of birth within this age requirement. 
  • Secondary school-aged persons who are not enrolled at school – evidence required
  • Secondary school-aged persons who are enrolled in school are eligible to enrol in this course for free only during school holiday time periods as stated in the Department of Education Term dates
  • Persons receiving the JobSeeker or JobKeeper payment
