Shire of Moora Heritage Policy (Reference Municipal Inventory)

The Municipal Inventory is a listing of public and private heritage properties that were identified in 1998 by the Moora Community as being significant to the heritage and history of the Moora District. There are 5 categories and some 210 properties throughout the Shire of Moora including but not limited to Aboriginal Camp Sites, Water Wells used by drovers and pioneers and a range of public and private buildings.

The Shire of Moora is seeking comments from the community on the draft Heritage Policy that has been developed. The draft policy will be used as a reference by the Shire of Moora when considering matters associated with properties with local heritage significance.

The draft policy is available on the Shire of Moora website and hard copies are available at the Shire Office, 34 Padbury Street Moora. Comments are to be sent to the Shire at PO Box 211 Moora, or emailed to records@moora.wa.gov.au.
