Facilities Maintenance Officer
The Opportunity

The Shire of Moora is seeking a positive and proactive team player to join our Infrastructure Services team as a Facilities Maintenance Officer. This position provides building, maintenance and repair services across Council-owned buildings, facilities and infrastructure, helping ensure Shire facilities are safe, functional and well presented for staff, residents and visitors.
Essential Criteria
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Demonstrated experience in building or facility maintenance
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Ability to read basic plans and measurements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Sound communication skills
- Demonstrated commitment to Work Health and Safety
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working in building or facility maintenance
- Experience using plant and equipment
- Basic computer skills
- First Aid Certificate
- Forklift or plant licence
Employment is contingent upon provision of a current satisfactory National Police Clearance, and a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing.
