Customer Service Officer

 

The Shire of Moora is looking for a Customer Service Officer who is a positive and proactive team-player. As a Customer Service Officer, you will provide high-quality customer service and deliver timely and accurate information to a range of stakeholders. The successful candidate must be highly organised, courteous and professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend to all customer enquiries received in person, via email and telephone.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate officer.
  • Monitor the Shire’s enquiries inbox, and record and allocate emails as appropriate.
  • Collect mail, and register and allocate it appropriately.
  • Attend to tourism enquiries.
  • Support the administration of the Shire’s library services.
  • Maintain the Shire’s reception and library areas and the public noticeboard.
  • Process dog and cat registrations.
  • Process gym and pool memberships.
  • Process caravan park and other Shire building bookings.
  • Order and maintain stationery and kitchen supplies.
  • Receive and process payments, including rate payments.
  • Undertake end of day reconciliations.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a team-focused, enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
  • Developed organisational and time management skills.
  • Developed literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Developed computer literacy, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.

What We Offer

  • Full-time permanent appointment, subject to successful completion of probation period.
  • Minimum salary of $63,232 per annum (or $32.00 per hour).
  • One Rostered Day Off a month.
  • Additional superannuation of up to 3%, subject to employee co-contributions.

Employment is contingent upon:

  • Provision of a current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • A pre-employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol testing.
