Council is responsible for the construction and maintenance of certain facilities and assets. These include gardens, ovals, parks and roads.
Council employs outside staff including an Operational Supervisor, Mechanics, Graders Operators, Construction Crew, Town Maintenance Crew, Parks and Garden Crew.
Council's road network consists of 333km of sealed roads and 653km of unsealed roads.
Each financial year a lot of thought and planning goes into the road network within the Shire of Moora. With the assistance of government funding, Council aims to achieve a good quality road network for the community.
