The Shire of Moora is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Swim Teacher to join our team. You’ll be working with children and their parents delivering engaging and effective swimming lessons in a warm, friendly, and professional setting.
Essential
• One of:
- AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety (TWS) accreditation.
- Royal Life Saving WA Swim Teacher accreditation.
- SWIM Coaches and Teachers Australia Swim Australia™ Teacher (SAT) qualification.
• Current Senior First Aid Certificate HLTAID011 or equivalent recognized CPR qualification.
• Working knowledge of the aquatic industry, including swim teaching and safe work practices
• Developed time management skills, and ability to work without supervision.
• Developed team and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated operational financial management skills.
Desirable
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
• Basic knowledge of Council operations
• Sound marketing, programming, and promotional skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Organised and able to meet deadlines.
